Global Pharma R&D Informatics and AI Congress.
FFEI will be presenting their Sierra Colour Calibration technology at this year’s Global Pharma R&D Informatics and AI Congress.
Sierra seeks to ensure colour fidelity throughout the imaging process. The goal of this is to provide confidence that the colour is representative of the ‘true colour’ of the tissue sample and not digitally altered by the scanning process. This provides a guarantee that either a pathologist of AI software is working from ground-truth data.
Whilst this means that all WSI scanner colour outputs can be uniformly generated for universally matched colour data, it also means that human or AI decisions are based upon real colour data, no longer compromised by digitisation.
